Hi Friend!

I'm Erin! I love food! I love talking about food. I love eating food. I love how we can use food to treat diseases and conditions. You name it, I'm here for it! 

I'm a wife to a wrestling coach and mom of 4 beautiful kids. When I'm not chasing them around, I love talking about food and planning meals! I went to the University of Wyoming and earned a bachelor's in kinesiology and health promotion and a master's in human nutrition. I ran track and cross country at UW and when I was done running, I became a fitness instructor and personal trainer. I love incorporating movement into our discussion about overall health.

 

I have been working as an outpatient dietitian for almost 8 years. When the pandemic hit, I was easily able to switch my practice to meet with my patients via telehealth and we've all benefitted from that transition. I use a platform called Healthie to host my telehealth sessions. It is super easy to use and navigate! If you're local to Stillwater, I'm happy to meet with you in-person. 

My Philosophy

I find that building relationships is a key part in finding lasting change with your health. Visiting with a dietitian doesn't mean you failed! I like to get to know you first before jumping into changing your diet. This might include getting to know your daily schedule, food preferences, personality style (natural tendencies toward writing things down or not) and much more. 

Once we establish a baseline, I like to come up with a plan together. We then tackle that plan one step/habit at a time. This way, you gradually develop a healthier lifestyle and you'll be able to sustain it for life! You break the dieting cycle!
